It must be the time of year. Me and my son were fishing a park in the S.L.C. valley .We were just carp fishing with bread when I put a little black & chartruese curlytail on(just for the hell of it) and just about every cast white bass would take the jig. we kept 10 and threw back probably twice that amount.I did not even know this little stream had white bass. The fish were pretty small about 6"to9"but we still had a good time.
