Yote the minnows were just on a circle hook with a sinker to get it to the bottom, but once I seen the smallies were present I switched to the curly tail jigs and they worked well. I agree you need to try them before its too late. We might be in our last month before they drain it. Been real slow this summer for me until the last two trips I've finally got into the panfish. But if its like usual next trip will be a bust. Catch ya later J
