Sorry for the late reply and sorry to hear the action was not as good today, h898. My schedule finally opened up to be able to get me on the computer. I started fishing the North jetty right where the big concrete pipe sticks out. No bites at that spot, but the other guy was fishing right at the point and he was catching fish, casting straight and dragging his rig on the bottom. So I moved closer to him and positioned myself to his left and started casting to my left, still no bites either. I ended up violating my own rule of proper angler space and started fishing close to him but not casting to where he was casting. The fish was concentrated pretty much close to shore, and with the water clearing up a little, I can see a drop-off about 3-4 feet from the edge of the ice. I was probably standing about two feet from the edge because of all ice that was built up on the shore. I am going to try and hit it again on Friday around 4 pm. Maybe I'll see you there H898.
