That's the real irony here...the tiger musky don't really affect the population numbers of the others, but if they do, it is a positive way. The reality is that there are too few tiger musky eating too few perch, bluegill, crappie, and LMB to even make a real dent in their population numbers. So, all that is really done to the fishery is a predator is added that can utilize the other fish as a forage....and potentially grow really big.
