I was there yesterday as well. I thought it was a good meeting and think that the changes proposed this year are good ones. I commend the DWR for this. I was a bit surprised that the second day possession limit issue generated the most discussion. If the definitions for what constitutes a processed fish are included, I don't see a problem with it. I thought the spearfishing compromise was excellent for both bassers and spearfishing enthusiasts. It was also good to see so many of you there.
RPF; The question you posed last night about all the testing done by the Dept of Health is answered here in this link below. Included is the results of all the current tests done on fish by them, even the normal results. You can peruse the list and decide where you are most comfortable eating fish.

One last thing, I do have to agree with FFL that there was one comedic property to last nights meeting. It was when Bassrods was vociferously giving Drew Cushing an earful in the hallway while the meeting was ongoing. (maybe it wasn't funny to Mr. Cushing) I could hear Cliff from outside about as well as the speakers at the podium. It's all good.
