You are absolutely correct, it is my responsibility to get involved if I am truly passionate about the management of Yuba. I have had many conversations with the dept about Yuba and a long list of other subjects. Slater called me sometime ago and asked me my thoughts about a slot for the northerns.
As quick as I am to criticize, I am equally quick to congratulate for a job well done and I have done that many, many times with director Sheehan and others all the way down the chain.
Some on this forum will defend the policies of the DWR and others might not see it that way and voice an objection. That's the way things work in this country.
Perhaps I will call Mike and make an appointment to see him. Nothing is going to change about my expressing my thoughts. If I can be convinced that the plan, that I was totally unaware of until this forum, is a positive step I will be the biggest cheerleader. If not I will continue to Whine. That my friend is my prerogative! And look what this thread has done to create awareness. Have a great day.
