If your "passion" is fishing and Yuba, you would get more involved. But, really I was questioning your "whining" about the management of Yuba and the lack of plan for that fishery. Based on what you yourself admitted, you didn't know that there was a plan and still are ignorant as to what that plan is. Complaining about the management of the fishery without understanding what the plan or reasons for the plan are is plain ignorance.
So, keep whining and disagreeing all you want; afterall, like you said, it is your right. But, if you want to be a part of the decision making process and want to truly understand the management whys and why nots, get involved. Make a phone call, send an email, set up an appointment and listen...then, after you have listened, give some input. But, "whining" about the management or lack thereof without even knowing what the plan is will get you and the fishery nowhere.
Also, FWIW, I personally totally disagree with the plan of stocking more perch and walleye into the reservoir...I think the reservoir should be managed as a trophy pike fishery by finding ways to reduce and control the pike numbers. Stocking more walleye and perch is not the answer, and it won't reverse the trend of where the fishery is heading.
