I thought that white king stuff was just marketing. Give me the crustacean fed orange flesh king any day over a white king. But I really like king and sockeye salmon. They're in my top 5 eating of all fish. I guess if your not as much a fan of salmon the white flesh variety might appeal to you.[/quote]
White kings are a marketing success. When I was first in AK salmon business you couldn't sell one. The locals all new they were the best eating but you couldn't convince the paying consumers, 30 yrs later you will pay 3x's as much for a white because the consumers have been educated.
