Scott Fly rod warranty consideration

No, it sounds normal for Scott. Winston was $60. my Winston wasn't the " islets" (GUIDES) it was at the Ferrule. Orvis is $30. on rods built after 2003. Not sure why Winston and Scott do this as the price of their rods reflect the warranty. Probably why I don't own many Scott[
