Hyrum Ice Conditions??

If you want to check for ice at Hyrum do a Google search for Hyrum Dam Cam and you can see current conditions... By the way no ice yet, but there was a lot of steam coming off this morning.... Looked like it's really cooling now... Anyway the water is enough lower this year that I will be looking for new fishing spots as well, but down by the spill way on the north west corner is usually good, but there is some current there so the ice conditions can be sketchy at times... When the water is high, the South East end is good fishing, but it's pretty shallow up there now. I have been finding some fish trolling off the swim beach and along the south side of the reservoir... Easiest places to get to will be the spill way and swim beach areas and around the boat ramp is also good at times.... Good luck and as the reports start more info will be available to help you find the best spots... Follow the crowds, they usually go where the fish are biting best... Later J
