Brent &amp; I hadn&#39;t been out together since CBA classic so he wanted to get out this morning before family got together. Hit the ramp at 9:30 &amp; man, it was cold! 27* with a stout north wind. About every 4 casts rod guides were full of ice. Fish didn&#39;t seem to mind though! 1st pocket we went to had 3 2-3# fish on traps about 4&#39;. Started hopping pockets off the river &amp; fish were in all of them! Right before we left at noon, I made a cast &amp; hopped the trap &amp; my line jumped! Had an early Christmas present when Brent lipped a healthy 8#er to end the day! Had 14-15 fish in only 3 hrs! Best 5 were 21-22#! Never got above 35*, but those bass warmed us up!<br />Merry Christmas, everybody! Thank God this season for His Amazing Gift to us in His Son! He is what it&#39;s all about!!
