Some of us don't catch fish on every cast ALL the time.
If it is that simple, why is it that many take a spinning outfit with them in case they can't catch fish on a fly.
Not to mention BAIT.
I will say spinning and bait are similar in fly fishing for the selection of lure, size, color, then in speed of retrieve. But once casted, all that is left is the retrieve, while fly fishing there is the mending, PLUS speed of retrieve.
Many here struggle first times out, but you and JT think it is super easy. What does that say about these people that are indeed experiencing real issues.
We are all truly different.
