Not true…not even close! Many of the trout the state stocks are actually fertile….including some rainbows, all brookies, all browns, all lake trout, and all cutthroat.[/quote]I hope you're wrong about the brook trout all being fertile. I've heard from a reliable DWR source that most brook trout now stocked in the Uintas are sterile along with several southern waters. I sure hope that's the case, especially on Boulder where tiger trout should be being phased out with sterile brook trout replacing them.
