Thanks for the south marina advise. I was out there when they were doing that dredging. As long as I've got 3 feet under me I'm in good shape. With the low water level, I never turn either way till I'm getting close to just east of the island.
I put on a Happy Troller today. And I made the 3rd cut in it at the 45 degree mark like many people have advised. With the work I had done on the motor (runs nice and smooth now even way down at lowest idle) and that trolling plate, I should be able to get much slower that before.
Now all I need is a day with no wind and no rain.
