How many times have you been told that slot limits don't work well when over harvest isn't a problem? What is being done right now is scale samples are being aged of bass at some of the waters you have mentioned…and what you will wait and see is that the fish growth of these other waters is very similar to Pelican where fish are stunted. But, you won't believe it…because you have already made up your mind what needs to happen. For you, we need to set up a slot limit at Pelican so that we can continue to have 9 year old 9 inch bass.
