Great post!! slot limits and size limits are infact very different. Some lakes benefit from either,Some don't It is a proven fact that smaller fish are far more aggressive than bigger fish,and the bigger fish have a better genetic trait to survive and breed..But.... if you have to many small fish they will outcompete the larger fish and all that's left is runts..dosent matter what kind of fish we are talking about its the same. The lakes in Utah are so dynamic that they have to be managed on a singular basis .What works in one lake wont work in the other please understand that. The dwr is open to suggestions because they manage YOUR water If you want to help - get involved I am,,,...
