capt. -- you also need to keep in mind that a very high percentage of the harvest that happened, and still happens today, is from BIRDS, not humans. So while humans may not be doing any harvest, birds continue to harvest at a high rate -- just go count how many cormorants are resident at that reservoir (do you know how many fish a cormorant will eat every day??)! Harvest continues to play a significant role at Minersville even with restrictive regulations to prevent humans from harvesting the trout.

(maybe we should transplant some cormorants to Jordanelle??)

I suspect that when the DWR completes the same spring netting at Otter Creek Reservoir that we'll also see some big smb.
