Don't forget the birds eat the chubs too. I watch the cormorant and pelicans from the porch with the spotting scope.
They work together to push the chubs up against the shore and really target them some times.
But ye the birds choke down some really big fish too.
Not many people fishing bass at Minersville keep them.
I am hoping for some heavy spring rains to bring what little snow we have down all at once.
They will start taking water in a few days. Same old story at Minersville. Getting by the summer on a hope and a prayer.
