Chessies are awesome waterfowl and pretty good at upland(ie. pheasant) but another breed you might consider for waterfowl and fur is a German Wirehaired Pointer or a Drauthar(might be spelled wrong).
They are used for tracking and catching fur animals as well as pointing , retrieving birds and great for ducks. (I run 2 of them)
