Dog-lover, yes walleye are found in the Green River below the dam and have been for decades. In that quote I was pointing out that we were receiving more frequent angler reports about pike, smallmouth bass, and walleye in the tail race fishery, even catfish. The highest I've heard of walleye in the Green is at Indian Crossing, about 14-miles below Flaming Gorge Dam. Even that wasn't documented officially through a picture or in-person though.

I'll pose the question about walleye in the Upper Green, above the Gorge, to my counterpart with WGFD and let you know what he's documented for sure.
