1978 UL record cat

Aw I take it you have never tried to hołd a fish over twenty pounds out at arms length... No doubt the fish he's holding is 20 + pound cat. (I really dout it hit 30+ And I just don't believe that fish in the pic is 39+ inches long. Sure it's a fine trophy cat but I'd say the fish in the picture is more in the 30"-35" range..... Unless he really was 7ft tall! And who knows maybe he was.... Did Any of you old timers on here Know him ? Was he a giant... Or did someone at the dwr perhaps do a bit of over guesstimating... I'm building a time machine so I can find out! Great fish either way but a true historic record fish that would stand on top for decades..... ??

Any other pics of this fish out there?? Got to be an officially measurment document and pics filed somewhere....
