[#0000FF]That was definitely a vole. As we drove up to the lake in the early morning dark they were running all over the place...spring mating time.
Yeah, the big bends in the river just above the Center Street Bridge on the Provo used to hold some big bass. Lots of other species too throughout the year.
Big cats eat almost any kind of birds they can find and catch. I knew an old guy who raised a lot of chickens every spring. Some of them died young and he would freeze them and use them for catfish bait during the rest of the year. Knew another guy who paid his kid to pop sparrows and starlings with his BB gun so he could use them as bait.
