They need more muskies first off and saugeye would only help in the thinning out of all the dinks of perch and crappie.
If you do that the ones that are left have more food and will grow larger, and of course if that happens there wont be as many but they would get some better size.
About 6 or 7 years ago the perch and crappie were great sized and you could catch them pretty easy if you found them, And im not sure but back then you could keep one muskie over 40 " so it makes you think how many were kept since then.
There has got to be a reason that the DWR wants to put saugeye in PV other than the intrigue it will bring as a new species.
