Results of the Red Fleet Reservoir survey
#37
Pineview is already awful with the tiger muskies eating everything to near extinction. The fishing for perch and crappie is way poor compared to the good ol days. It for sure doesn't need walleyes or saugeyes.
That may well be true, but PV still supports a perch and crappie fishery that is enjoyed by thousands, especially on the hard deck. PV has also been kicking out some quality bass too. Now, stick fertile walleye in there and what do you have? Deer Creek. Decent perch maybe once or twice a decade and stunted bass. The TM probably wouldn't grow as well either. No thanks! You might as well plant trout back in there. It probably would work. More fertile walleyes=more trout. Wink
