I remember attending one of the june sucker meetings and they did mention that others had agreed to contract to remove carp; however, they talked big but never did anything beyond talking big. The Loys have the experience and have shown that their methods work. I have my doubts that they will ever reach this "tipping point" unless they develop and use some type of effective biological control.
