Interesting observations and theories/explanations of the carp. The water level made it up to 100% state wide(it's below it now though because of the rising temps) about a week ago and now since it's gotten so warm so fast, the runoff should be making it into the lakes/rivers at least. I don't think it will be a great water year but it shouldn't be too horrible. That's the thing with fishing TD. I may have been using good methods/doing the jigs right but either there weren't fish where I was or maybe they weren't hungry. Or I might just need more practice. Fishing is truly an art that depends on time of day,if fish are there, if fish are hungry, and a little luck that either a fish is exactly where you cast or see's/finds you bait.
