Wipers Huntington North
#6
Still don't have the picky Huntington North wipers figured out yet, Have caught a few trolling small rapalas that resemble a chub,
Caught a few jigging with a worm sweetened silver cast master,
Tried mussels Willard style from the bank nutin!
Been chilly lately when I tried mussels but now the heat is on. and so will the power squadron!
I only have a 12ft portabote so those huge wakes can be a problem real quick.
The wipers turn on later in the day when it warms up but by then you need a bigger boat, Not huge just bigger than mine.
I go early as possible and just watch the parking lot for the inconsiderate people to pull in then get out.
Its a very small lake and I am surprised at the size and speed of the boats that go there.
It really is pretty good fishing if you can take decent wakes.
Quite the variety too! Bluegills, Big Mouth, 2 trout kinds, cats, Wipers, and of course Chubs!, Big ones!
Shoot me a pm or do it on line don't care I will tell you where the 40' depth is and best fishing is when it gets hot,
I live in Price and attack that lake pretty regular,
Let me know what boat you are in and if I run into you I will show you a set up or two that works there,
Good luck
