I know they catch bigger fish at night, but I just haven't got the night fish bug yet. But I'll bet you would be okay to pitch the tent and build a fire, as long as you arent on the bridges, while things are still green. When it gets dry then the fires are iffy. Guess I still like to catch the cats trolling instead of bait fishing too and that would be real tough in the dark. Sorry to be a party pooper on that one. Later J
