Idaho Salmon Fishing Etiquette
#23
Thanks Belasko....

As I've stated numerous times, I'm more than happy to step back, off a hole, or at least "teach" those whom are willing to learn, or, to let others who've not caught fish, have a chance. Even if I'm the one that, "does ANYTHING" to catch fish such as be on the bank a couple hours before most get out of bed.

Biigfish....

I also agree with you whole heartedly, that when salmon fishermen are lined up on a hole, they are scrutinized. My observation is that those who do the most whining are the ones who fail to catch fish, while others on the same stretch of water are hooking fish after fish.

I also agree that it's the choice of every angler to use whatever gear "tickles his fancy", whether it's drift gear, a fly rod, bobbers, plunking, or a float. But at Tate same time, if a guy waltzes onto a hole where everyone is drift fishing, and proceeds to throw a bobber, there's going to be contention, just as if the tables were reversed.

My whole intention on starting this thread, was to be mindful of the other anglers...

Avery, Untangler, or anyone else for that matter, if you wanna hop out of your sled and fish with me, or either of my son, Justin D., or Andrew T. Huntsman, then all you have to be is courteous, just as you'd expect us to be.

I don't believe that's too much to ask.......
