Rule of thumb for me....if it is on the rise and heading towards or already above 2500 CFS it will not be fish-able. If it is heading downward towards or below 2500 CFS it is going to be all clear.
Optimum for me is 2000 CFS.
I am sure someone else will dis-agree.....I'm just trying to save you gas money based on many years of experience fishing that river.
