Idaho Fishing Advice - Want to be a Respectfull Tourist and Learn the Basics
#23
Has anybody ever hiked back to Red Lake, this lake is on the west side of the Lone Pine Peak, which is SE of Challis. It looks like a nice hike 2-3miles back and I think the elevations are about 6500. The rangers also suggested some of these may be opened up near Challis by last weekend of May: Jimmy Smith Lake off East Fork Rd, Bayhorse Lake. Also on the western end the ranger said Challis Lake may be open, its only a few mile hike so we may check that out. Starting to narrow down options and I think with a good map we'll be able to pinpoint some good locations when we get there. Thanks again all for the advice, its been good stuff.
