I was trolling between 0.8 and 1.5 mostly 1.3, but with the wind it was whatever. Also I tried to be at the speed the lead core rod was showing just the right action.
I need to get one of those maps. Never once saw a bunch of fish on the sonar. Maybe at 20 ish feet, they don't easily come in the cone of the sonar, or they are boat shy.
Wow, had the small kokanee for breakfast, one of the best tasting fish I've had. Yummy. I maybe hooked. I am hoping in the summer they don't get the mossy tasting that the trout get in Strawberry.
Also I only lost one, maybe due to the stinger hook on the squids, and often the second hook was solid in a bony part of the face.
