Yeah, there's definitely not an absolute answer to replenishing salmon runs at this point in time. There's a lot more to it than I will even pretend to know, but sometimse I am left scratching my head.

As to your comment about capacity and budget, I find the budget issues to contradict what happens when those fish are in the Columbia. You'd think fish and game would fight for what they spent money on... Why can the lower Columbia fishermen have an extension of the season multiple times when they close sections in Idaho after a week? Doesn't make sense.

Someday maybe things will be made right .
