<br /> I wanted to take my neighbor &amp;amp; friend Michael fishing today. My plan was to run down to Moccasin Bend but my engine gremlin flared up not 50 yards from the Riverpark ramp. Usually it shows up as I&#39;m coming up on plane but this time, I was idling away from the ramp. &#39;Tis a mystery! Anyway, when I did get going I decided to go upstream and fish around the dam and down the Chatt State bank.<br /> I managed to catch a small crappie, a yellow bass, and a keeper-sized LM (released). All on a brown-back/white Middle N. Michael struck out. I really wanted him to catch some, but it wasn&#39;t to be.
