The radio is off when the battery drain occurs. What is strange is that when I disconnect the radio power wire from the battery, then reconnect it, the radio turns on by it's self, almost like it is wired to the on position. Yes, I can manually turn the radio off but it still draws power. I do not want to wire it to my main ignition switch because that would mean I would have to have the ignition switch on, in order to listen to the radio. When I have someone fishing with me I never turn the radio on, only when I'm by myself, so what I did was just pull the plug for the radio. It is easy enough to plug back in if I need it and it's looking like I'll end up getting that Perko switch, so that will fix the problem. It really isn't an issue while I'm fishing, just when it sits for days in between.
