Morning madness at Lindon 7-1-14

Rog-- Glad to.

I have had success all around Bird Island but mostly I fish the west and southwest side in water anywhere from 5 feet deep and shallower -- always taking into account the cost of a major prop repair. Seems best with a bobber because of all the rocks. It is a popular area but seems to never run out of cats. White bass and carp are my favorites. I'll attach a pic again of the way I cut wb up for bait using a band saw -- slick.

Another good spot is anywhere along the south dike and out from the Benjamin slough. From shore, off the end of either dike always seems to produce, especially after dark. Inside the channel can be good too.

Best depth in the mud flats seems to be right around 3 - 4 feet dragging bait or anchored up. Best to get in and out before the power guys show up. Channel depth is at about 3 ft now so launching is still okay.

Good luck if you go -- will be looking for pics.
