If the State of Idaho's system for there fish and game allows those who are ineligible to put in for hunts that they are ineligible for..... maybe the state needs to take a look at there system, the regs as usual are very unclear, my understanding is that the kids that put in were of age at the time of the hunt? and that they would have to of taken there hunter safety or taken by the time they purchase there tag? So they would be legal by the time they took there weapon into the field..... I feel the need to say i dont have a kid old enough to hunt yet, but i feel this shows poorly on the state. And you want to punish the parents that wanted the opurtunity to hunt with there kids.... yep lets show them... there kids were born 2 months to late lets not let them hunt with there kids for 2 years more.... you gotta be kidding.... Arnt we suppose to be promoting youth hunting..... Go tell your kid that you cant hunt with them because the state of idaho was willing to take there $6.50 without telling them that they were under age.... I wonder if the dmv would let my 7 year old get her drivers license..... Ron if you should be upset with anyone is should be the idaho f&g, they changed there laws to make more money... oops i mean get a younger group hunting, but didnt update there system to scan those applying for hunts, and the fact that they could have went on open hunts basicly proves my point.
