Why do a lot of fishermen fish alone?????

I haven't posted mush here on BFT, mostly just read occasionally; however, I like this question...I have a fishing buddy who is, in fact, my best friend. We usually fish together chasing Bass and Tiger Muskies. There is the occasion when he has other plans thus, leaving me to either fish alone or try to convince my other friends that fishing is fun. In these cases I typically choose to go alone to avoid the hassle or let-down when someone backs out at the last minute. Launching and loading the Z-9 isn't really that difficult, since I have had plenty of experience. I always wear my PFD when out alone on the water.
Prefer to fish with friend(s); though, alone can be very rewarding and peaceful.
