I prefer to fish alone. It's my 'me time'. I fish where I want, when, how fast, how slow, with what I want-if I feel like throwing a crank all of a sudden and cover water and a buddy is throwing a jig then it screws him up-I don't have to worry about front ending anybody. Jigs that come undone flying through the air and impaling in my arm without me even knowing what was happening.
I know how much gas is going to cost me, I accept that. I leave when I want. Fish deep, shallow, put around watching the finder. Throw the anchor out and have a beer and a sammich. Spend the night at the Gorge anchored in a cove, wake up, have coffee, watch the deer while throwing a topwater. Good times.
Don't get me wrong, I go fishing with my buddies often and we have a lot of fun. We are already planning our Spring trip for 2015. Table Rock, The Delta, Lake Fork, Falcon or the Big O...where to go?
