Does anyone grow a garden?

I've been planting a garden for a number of years now and have taken pride in the fact that I seem to be learning and improving every year. Then this year hit. Tomatos and cucumbers and Peppers have done real well but everything else has really struggled. Eggplant squash and melons have done nothing. My raspberries and Plums are awful this year also. Hoping it was just a bad year.
