Does anyone grow a garden?

I love gardening, preserving salsa, pickles, tomato sauce, pickled jalapenos, and all the bounty that comes out of one's little plot of dirt. I also really love seeing other folks gardens too. I can't get enough of peaking through picket fences to see how someone else is putting their plots to use. So thanks to you and everyone else for putting up those great pics ... I love them.

42 years ago, when I first got interested in gardening, I always assumed that "gardening" was all about vegetable gardens. Then about 25 years ago, the light came on in my head that there was a lot more to gardening than just vegetable gardening. Since then, I have come to love gardening of many kinds.

This year, I decided to keep a few photographs of [#008000]"A Year In The Life Of My Garden"[/#008000]. Below are some of those pictures.

This first group of pics show the progression of just my small vegetable garden. Even though it is small, this year it produced enough tomatoes and peppers for salsa for me, some friends, family, and some neighbors. Between all of us we put up 215 pints of salsa off these nine tomato plants!
