Your right. If it is a speared fish its not going to be released. Angling allows for a selective harvest, well so does spearfishing. I am going to select wether I take the fish or enjoy watching it in its enviroment. I can tell you only from my own experience from this day was that three was alot of watching and enjoy what the lake had to offer. It was quite fun to watch those fish smimming around and fun to try and stalk them. So in answer to the question for the rest of the day that day I released near 20-30 fish I took 3 fish home for dinner and enjoyed them. But there are alot more that I enjoyed just watching.
