Not to be a contrarian, but last Sat evening we caught 30+ fish in 2 hrs in the top 5ft of water. All on hardbaits! Nothing cracked the 22" mark but we came close a few times.

I'm curious how deep your flies get with the super fast sink? Do they reach the 30ft mark and deeper? You must have a lot of line out if they are. (The whole idea seems pretty cool to me.)
