I haven't shot a deer, elk, antelope, etc in years... Was the primary food group growing up in Montana... I use to head up there while still in the Military every Oct/Nov and shoot one or all listed above but left most of the meat up there with my family and only brought a 100lbs or so back. Didn't go too many years before the wife started to refuse to eat wild game so that was the end. No reason for the expense, etc if I was the only one to eat while everyone else ate something else.

I need to get out and do some shooting one of these weekends... Got a new Atlas bipod and a new Volquarsten trigger in the 10/22 that are both in dire need of being used for the first time. (What happens when one isn't spending the $$$ every weekend fishing... New toys magically show up on the door step [] )
