Okay lol i'll admit i'm pretty embarrassed that I didn't know dolphins were classified as mammals. So scientifically dolphins are classified as mammals but most people think of dolphin as a fish. I'm not sure what you're
about but I'll try to explain. I compared keeping a fish alive until you take it home with a hunter who purposely shoots something in a non fatal region on purpose. It's just a jerk move to do. PBH said something to the effect of how can you compare mammals to fish and that's where I questioned why mammals were considered superior to fish and mistakenly tried to used the dolphin example. We all can get food from multiple places so I'm saying we don't need to kill fish for food like other animals, so the least we could do is be respectable about doing so.
I don't think letting a fish go(unless it is bleeding profusely) is less humane than killing it but I agree with you that you should either instantly let it go or instantly kill it.
