I'm with ya koot. Surface area in contact with the snow skis vs sled.
Skis awsome on hard packed snow, bad in deepsnow. Sled being tore
Up by ice, but floats on deep powder. Reminds me of my powder hound
Days at the resorts. Skiers really drop down in powder, snow boarders
Surf the top. I was looking for some old skis ( size 180) I could give away.
Only found one so far. Came across water skis, old ones. Ummmmm
Wider foot print. What about snow boards. I once had an idea of mounting
Two on the front wheels of my honda 400 ex with wheel chocks. Decided
There wasn't enough front lip. Then use sand paddles on the back.
That idea went the way of the doo doo bird.
Any way i think weight is the biggest concern, regardless ease of pull.
