Ice is solid safe for walking. Average thickness of 5-6, some areas too thick to see. Than down around the middle and spots that get a lot of sun through the morning ice is more like 3-4. Still no really thin ice. Fish are shallow around prime time then move deep. Try 60 feet of water after 12 pm. Got this one right off the bottom and pulled him up 53 feet so get deep!
