Storing rods in the garage???
#7
Hey buddy, It is unfortunate that we have no way to keep all of our rods wet during the whole year but sometimes a season change forces us to store away with the summer stuff and break out the winter stuff.

I mounted some 3/8 plywood on my garage door and attached some 1 1/4 ABS pipes to them. 1 1/2 or 2 inch would be preferred if the poles have larger butts.

First I cut a piece of 3/8 plywood to a 1'x4' piece. Then I mounted several pieces of ABS pipes side by side, but staggered on the heigths.(if you want to leave the reels in) This rack allows me to keep about 30 of my off season or not being used right now, poles in it. They stay off the ground and when I'm ready to use them I can simply remove 1 or more of them with ease.
