I am positive your pattern will catch fish, and nicely done. One suggestion "in addition" try tying on a shorter hook the body and eyes, and then a longer tail (keeping the whole fly at no more than an inch long).
When they swim, their whole body wiggles.
I got my pattern in Flies For The Greater Yellowstone Area, if you can find a copy.
