I fish beside a couple oldtimers here on my lake. I dont do to shabby with my 2 pound test line. they conceftivly pull in more heads than I do with their one pound test line.

I eather havent lost the ecitment yet or I just havent developed the finess of using one pound test line. I snap them about every time. well it could be every time I put on a one pound test line I hook in to a 8 pound bass, I guess I will never know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsieroll pop.[laugh]

the old timmers say you are doing good if you are landing fish twice the weight of your line test. I dont do to shabby with my 2 pounder, pulling in 2 pound crappie, 3 pound bass and 4-5 pound pike. the old timers I see pulling in nice size crappie gills and perch, but never do I see them pulling in bass. at least nothing big enough to take a picture of. their lines ususaly snap too.
